I'm a fan of Gaige. I mean, if I lived in Borderlands universe, I would be Gaige.
Also, I didn't realize this until like my third playthrough, but Zer0 speaking in haiku is pretty sweet. c:

Well I started with the second game first, and picked Maya, I just really like obliterating baddies without having to use a lot of ammo, once I got the first game though, I fell in love with Lilith. I can't really pick a fave VH, it's too hard for me!!

I'm a sucker for Sirens, man. Like a lot. I played at Lilith in the first and I knew right away I'd be playing as Maya. Krieg has won my heart though I love playing as him.

I love Mordecai and Zer0. I think I just have a think for snipers?  Lilith was the first character I playsed as, but I felt like her action skill was too weak and I always found myself 'running away' from fights. :/ |

Gaige is fun to play because her quotes always make me chuckle but zero is just a badass, theyre my current favorites

Oh yeah, I never bought any characters, but I've listened to their dialog on youtube and it's fantastic. ESPECIALLY Gaige's.

oh my god okay mania!krieg has to be the best thing. i don't even play as melee characters (i started out as zer0 because snipers yeAH) but MAN once i hit 31 i was in love. and then putting points into bloodlust just made everything better. (and then even later after putting points in hellborn oh my god he is so op except not entirely because i still end up dying a bunch HAHA)
i really wish they'd release more backstory for krieg, like...maybe a book or something? oh god i'd buy any borderlands books in an instant. (which reminds me i really need to get my hands on the origins comics oops) i just...MAN i really wanna know what kind of experiments he actually went through, how he snapped and escaped and who the "she" he talks about really is!! (i have a headcanon that it's his daughter, i reblogged a post about it a while back but it got some backlash so...i'm kind of afraid to mention it haha)
i also love mordecai and brick. they are hilarious and great and i love them ;u;
